Hey guys, was just wondeeing as I only mix vinyl, where you would suggest is the best place to purchase vinly from? Especially hardcore, and I might add also, "other than discogs", I usually buy from Hard to find records (HTFR.com) and Juno records, but I find there back catalogue just full of the stuff that didn't sell, htfr has its moments for sure like I just picked up Frantic & gammer - braveheart including the alternative drop mix for cheap. So I'm wondering where you guys can suggest to purchase vinyl. New and up to date or old, classics or not. And I live I. The UK if that helps, but its not an issue.

it does`nt really matter, vinyl sucks, you might as well just get a controller you can use USB traktor and plug vinyl analog decks in without needing a audio interface
but don`t need timecode, you plug analog decks into the back of the VMS4.1, and flick a switch on the front, to change the mixer channel to USB or a analog deck

Thing is its nice to own a physical release, the only worry is if a vinyl skips mid mix even with a decent amount of anti skate etc. How much would I be looking at for a set up like that? Plus any recommendations for programs for ripping my vinyls I already own?

would`nt know, the VMS4.1 is normally always around ?240 on google or ebay
its the original controller that has everything, followed by vestax VCI-400, but vestax when bankrupt last year
the denon, and reloop controllers are just catching up and were released last year, so the denon is ?360 or so and the reloop is ?550
if you get a VMS4.1, you don`t need to rip your vinyl, you can plug your vinyl decks into the back, and flick the switch on the front to swap the mixer channel to analog

That's excellent! I like the : 16x velocity-sensitive RGB drum pads for triggering HOT CUEs, loops, samples & slicer, could imagine really expanding a set using that. I noticed it has fx too, which would of been my next question, what are the fx in detail if you know?
And what? Vestax gone bust!?! That's such a shame, I'm currently using vestax pdt5000 turntables which, although heavy, have never let me down, also looked into there strange turntable mixer hybrid, giving you ways to preform insane scratch moves.
