Ok there are a few people who think that Hardcore should go commercial. I just want to know how many people would like it to and why? After all trance is no longer trance now it is in the charts. 5 years ago who would have thought that a trance tune would make it to number one on the uk charts? I dont think happy hardcore should go commercial cause they will change it to much!

My 2.5 cents on the matter is that happy hardcore sure could use a boost but not at the expence that a massive 100 000 person flood of teeny raver wanna be start flooding the parties etc...

Dont you hate the way in which Trance "clubbers" have shaken the name of raver off and continue to say that ravers are just drug addicts! We started trance off for them we were there when they were calling trance ravers drug addicts and now that its commercial people think that they are better than us. It pisses me off! Same with garage, the garage that they call UK Garage is not the garage that you heard at raves 3 years ago.

i dont think that theres that much of a risk of hardcore going mainstream, the void is already filled by house/hard house, and sadly the scene seems to be getting smaller if anything

Hardcore is not getting smaller, it may not be growing fast but its definetly not getting smaller. Hardcore Heaven has started again, Helter Skelter to and dreamscape is holding hardcore again as well. UK is on its way back.

If hhc went commercial, you'd get idiots trying to jump on what would be the band wagon, trying to make tunes and releasing crap tunes, giving hhc a bad name.

No, it shouldn't go commercial. If everyone pulls together we can make the scene strong again without having to go overground.

i could give two shits if happy hardcore becomes commercial or not. it's not commercial right now, a lot of producers in the uk are selling out cos it's not the biggest thing on the island anymore. **** that, i'll like hardcore anyway. and punk rock rules!!! :)
