It's actually sampled from a trance tune from back then. I can't remember the one off the top of my head but I'll try to track it down. I'm sure I still have a copy of it somewhere.

The only sample I have is a low quality one but I'm sure you can track down a decent copy of the song from the ID and sample it yourself.

You know, I had a feeling, but I initially thought they used the entire patch instead of sampling one note. When I tried it myself, it obviously didn't sound right. :P

When you said choir, I took it as like people singing, and that's why Wanting To Get High came to mind (since it was from around the same time period).
