Hey just a thought...
How come Mc Gobstoppa never chats on the music on the show? Is he really that awful???

We often play live sets where he is mc'ing, but mc'ing in the studio with 3 people there would sound lame, as he's just sitting there, and not hyped up like he would be live.

hehe you know I never thaugh of that, would be kinda wierd, plus u couldn't get any vibe of the crowd .. well thats one of my little questions answerd lol

its kinda like the mixmag cd.. storm isnt hyped up, there no crowd interaction / reaction.. and he sounds bored..
i have a spinback and ruff cd thats done in the same style.. he is just sitting there, and has no energy..

We have a D&B radio here with Mc's from time to time. Not much of a crowd, just a bunch of friends smoking too many spliffs. But they still chat. I suppose it's up to the Mc.
you should rebroadcast a live set so we can hear what he sounds like

Next week we're planning on playing a live set of me & him from feb. 1 we did at a party called "Heart Attack.. As long as i can get my minidisc recorder fixed!

i think it depends alot on style...sure crowd interaction is good, but freestylin is where its @, and you dont need no crowd for that.
a friend of mind is a dope freestyler, any style of music he can go non stop (thats the only problem, he dosent work too with with a dj and freestyles sometimes when he shouldnt)
anyway when i play hhc and drum and bass sets he just jumps on the mic and rhymes away, but yeah like i said, lots different to sorta mcing thing
