welllll one of the platters of my decks is dragging on one side or something? It goes around and when it gets to a certain point it grinds/drags against the side. It doesn't do it all the time but for the most part. I'm guessing the spindle or something is offcenter but it could be something else. Any suggestions on how to fix this? (They're Direct Drive if that helps)
Smurf it.

try taking the platter off your other deck and put it on the one that grinds. If it still does the same thing, then it probally is the spindle or something came loose inside making it spin off center.

what kind of decks do you have? you might want to try getting a hold of the company that made/sent them to you and see what they suggest...

get them returned, its afault with the deck which seems to be a manufacture problem with the 1650's at the mo.
