Does anyone know how to make UK Hardcore in Ableton Live? I have made it before, but I don't think I'm doing it right, and I don't think I'm getting the right sound, if you know what I'm saying. Does anyone know?

That's a bit of a useless question.
That's like asking how to drive a car, or how to make food. Way too basic and generic to be of any use.

1. Place kicks, claps, hats etc. in a typical UK hardcore arrangement.
2. Put in an off-beat bass.
3. Add supersaw lead with a melody that goes something like da-dadada-da-da-dada-da-dadada.
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

Sorry, what I meant to say was: what kind of track arrangement is usually set, and what kind of rhythm does the melody have. But Elliott kind of answered my question. If you have any tips, feel free to let me know!

First of all you need to get grips with the DAW. Most of the digital audio workstations have in common a set of effect suite such as compressor, reeverb, EQ, delay, phaser etc...
If you know them all you're at a very good point. Those are generic things you need to know for use every DAW, and if you know them, you shouldn't have any problems whatever DAW you use.
