Then there's the little interview bit at the end. I can't make head nor tail what the hell's going on with this. Reality show? Parody? Why the hell were that many people there not dancing at all?
I need answers!!

Hahaha there's this lone guy in the crowd jumping up and down, the rest are just like: "........ uhh................................... uuuuuuuuuuuuh..............", totally stonefaced. It's just hilarious!
I guess it's at Dreamhack.
The interview at the end reveals it's a contest. They give him some feedback. I've transcribed it:
Jury 1: "I think it was nice how you at the end there could do some handsfree DJing." (sarcastic I guess?)
Jury 2: "Well the things you can do with a computer... Well first you stood like this, like you had some sweat in your hands that you tried to get rid of, and then you went to greet the audience. Were you sweaty?"
DJ: ".. No."
Jury 2: "Uh... well... I think you have nice clothes at least."
Jury 3: "The music was good but I didn't really see any DJing"
Jury 4: "Well what to say... I think you have to improve and come back next year. You get a 1 out of 10 from me."
It made me think of this extremely awkward rave, I think it was posted here a year ago or something but it never gets old.

That is from a My Little Pony convention. Usually these types of conventions, including anime conventions (or cons for short) have a separate area where they have djs playing. Usually they are not the best.

Because My Little Pony has been around since the 80s and growing up doesn't mean you have to stop liking something.

Also that just because somethings target demographic is mainly female doesn't mean that you can't appreciate a show with complex and relatable characters, good animation, multi tiered and morally interpretable story, and enthusiastic and responsive creators.
Many people also view it as a refreshing break from violence and sex based entertainment.
