OK, here goes... this is one of those tracks that you dont hear for a few years and all of a sudden it keeps going around and round in your head...
Anyway, here goes (I wouldn't call it happy, but its definately hardcore and you guys are the most knowledgable IMO).
It's a track off one of DJ Spellbound's mix-tapes from back in the days. I have a feeling the tape is called 'Sex, drugs & hardcore' but I'm not 100% on that one. The song is near the start, I think it's just after 'Flying High' by Ultimate Buzz.
The major indentifiable element of the track is a chorus sung twice in a robot-style voice, the lyrics are hard to hear but says something like:
"I live in a fantasy,
wishing that you were near me,
even if I was the one that left you,
even when you call my name,
??? when I close my eyes,
I just wanna be near you
Far away
Miles away"
c'mon guys this is killing me!

Virus, I found 'Far Away' by Pulp Shock, it's not quite what I was after though.
That song is sung by a girl, the one I was interested in was a totally robotic voice, very synthetic. The words were pretty much the same though.
No other suggestions?

the track with the robotic voice is just the remix, its on the same e.p.
the one you got was prolly the original
