"New topics since last visit (7989)"
How is the HHC scene doing nowadays? Recently found my old HHC CD collection (2003-2008) and gave them a listen, and oh the memories! :)
What shows are still kicking it? What new (and old) artists are keeping the scene alive?

When was the last time you kept up with hardcore?
I'm sure that a lot of the names you remember are still around. They're still keeping the mainstream part of UK hardcore alive, but personally I think that Hardcore Underground is doing a much better job in bringing more of a variety in UK hardcore.

Welcome back. Or if you are not staying, then just 'welcome'! The scene massively declined from 2005 onwards, hitting its lowest point a year or 2 ago. Things have improved a lot though recently and are continuing to improve. Both from the music itself and the raves being held (in my opinion). As it was, things were very bleak for me for a lot of years but now very promising again which is good and which i didn't expect. Nevertheless everything is sounding very different these days.
Much of the same producers are still around. Scott Brown disappeared for a while but has recently returned to continue what he does best!

So, you have no grounds to complain about it anymore then?

Sup roberticus, I remember the name and the avatar, though I can't say I remember much of you beyond that. 8000 posts is a fair while I think.

Hmmm, I'd say 2008ish, a little after my military service. Though HC never really lived here in Finland.

Anything in particular that sparked the curve to go upwards?

Different in what ways? Been banging to goodies such as Euphoria - Open the Void and Second Sight, Gammer - A new feeling and Brisk&Vagabonds stuff.
I have to listen to Scott Browns latest stuff then, I remember loving his tracks back in the days!
Is Brisk & Ham still in the Scene? How about Gammer? Hixxy?
What happened to DJ Myers?

All good I'd say, kicking it at Uni studying Chemical Engineering. How are you? :)
I wasn't really That active back in the days, that might explain it.

If you're interessted to Freeform Hardcore, FINRG has a few raves in your country - just in case you don't already knew.

Brisk calm down but did a good work on Hardcore Ungeround 5 to my opinion.
Ham recently left for DnB!
Gammer is still quite active, but his new sound has been discussed in deeply emotional threads. Some love it, some hate it! The usual hardcore filth!
Hixxy is very quite, but still there are rumours about a new album going around theses days.
