Fellaini for more money than Rooney? Ludicrous figure. Everton did well in general. Good business. United are a joke. They've got the weakest squad out of the top three or four teams - arguable, even, the top six sides? Unbelievable that they haven't bought some creative midfield players of serious quality. Carrick (colossally overrated by everyone), Cleverly (a decent young English player but embarrassingly poor compared to other midfielders for top clubs [Hazard/Cazorla/Coutinho/Oscar etc]), Giggs (absolute legend, and he's certainly fit enough, but he doesn't influence games). Kagawa is exceptional, but he's inexplicably not being played.

erm...bale...madrid...world record transfer fee now THAT is overrated imho nobody on the planet should be worth this much utd payed over the odds for Fellaini because they were desperate because i don't think people will want to join man u now that sir alex is gone i mean moyes is good but he aint sir alex is he time will tell tho
it's only taken what nearly 10 years for arsenal to make a major signing and what a fooking player they have they could have a chance of finishing at least 2nd this year if ozil plays his role well but i just wonder how wenger will rotate the midfield as arsenal have some brilliant players but he should have bought another centere back aswell coz as everyone knows they have been weak at the back for very long time

he really is eh!!! i think the only reason he bought ozil is because he was under so much pressure from the fans don't get me wrong it's a fantastic signing for arsenal and the premier league in general but he needs to buy a decent defender someone like tony adams etc but those kind of defenders are pretty much no existent these days

We all knew that money in football was ridiculous but this transfer window took it to the next level. Sad how there's so much poverty in the world but corrupt football teams can somehow justify spending astronomic amounts of money on overrated footballers. Money and greed has ruined the game and its only going to get worse.

could not agree more i think that the players need to have at least 80-90% of their wages taken away and given to charities all over the world especially with whats going on in syria right now and with all the peple struggling in this country too it's time they started helping us all out instead of buying a new bentley or mansion etc
think about how much the 85.3 mil for bale would help people and it got spent on one human being thats just insane nobody is worth that much no matter how good they are at what they do

scottish football has been dying for years the only reason there was any intrest was the old firm but after what happened with rangers the final nail was hammered into the coffin imo maybe when rangers get into the "scottish Premiership" it will be better but the fact that the english pemier league just spent 500+ mil in this transfer window means there is little to no chance of scottish football bein even half as good as it was when i was growing up and even before i was born there's just not enough money to bring in any talent from either youth setups or abroad which is pretty shite tbh
