I'm a real neophyte in making MIDImusic (6 months something) and it's not easy making Happy Hardcore with the equipment we got (mostly making techno/half-rave/jazz stuff). I'm actually more into trackers and so on but feeling like advancing to MIDI. So I'm asking you what's a good basic kit for making HH. What's some good basicequipments?

Yeah, I want to know that too. I'm considering also to make music with MIDI..
Maybe it's a idea for silver to make a producing forum :)

Try fasttracker 2 / 3 or impluse tracker they all supprot midi and are trackers.

I rather use a pro sequencer, like cubase. (btw fasttracker 2 is not stereo) But before I even make some tunes I have to invest in some good hardware. Like sampler and synths, for example the novation supernova II  But I (and Rotis proberly also) want to know what stuff is good :)

Okay understandable, I know many a producer that have used trackers and have many record's out, alot of people think that trackers are not cool or something but who cares, it's about the music and not about how you make it, I make the same argument with Rebirth vs' a TB303, I have both, a TB303 and Rebirth and I used whatever I want...
If you want something that gets alot of bang for your buck check out http://www.creamware.com the pulsar cards, I have one of these and you can doalot with this thing. Actually I know three HHC producers that have these.

What u should get all depends on what kind of money u have to spend. I agree that the Pulsar card is great, but they run around $1000.00. For the same price you can get a SoundBlaster Live Platinum with the live drive and a Novation Nova or a used Access Virus.
The Nova and Virus are both great synths for creating big stacks and lots of fun/ pretty noises. The Nova goes for $800-$1200, and the Virus goes for $1000-$1400.
For samplers/sequencers you should use either Cubast VST or CakeWalk. If you want to go with a hardware sampler I would suggest either a Yahmaha A3000 or A4000, or if you have the cash get an Emu E5000, or E6400. They will run you from around $800-$2000.
If you do plan on spending a lot of cash I would strongly suggest buying used gear. You will save about 30% and most ppl that are selling gear are selling it cause they just never use it, so it's normally in good condidtion. I would also suggest staying away from all Roland gear. Most of it is sample based and not very fun unless you just like to use worn out sounds.

Cubase VST, Soundblaster Live soundcard loaded with special set of soundfonts, CD writer and mother Keyboard... Get the above equipment and you can make the highest quality hardcore available!!! 48Khz sound, no pre-sampled ******** and everything you need to make fantastic, releasable Happy Hardcore. I started out using fasttracker II 2.08 (which _is_ stereo if you make sure you pan a pair of channels hard left and right .... and load in the left and right of stereo samples appropriately ... tho you drop from 32 channels down to 16 .... impusle tracker has alot more to play with)
I'm now mostly hardware all sequenced with Cubase. I prefer it to trackers (knobs, real sound generation, external effects, other toys..) .. tho some people do get a wicked sound from just a tracker ... (Venetian Snares' hardcore drill n bass material comes to mind ;) And some soft synts out now are rather powerful.

Good descrition of both hardware (Sharkey) and software (K-Komplex) setups. The combination of it can be just killer tho.
