Well, I just thought I would join in. :P
seriously though, I loved him....right up to the point he started making total shit like "colour the world" from then onwards it was all downhill. Why "Sweat" was never released as a single I'll never know - that's what he should have released instead of Colour The World (before making his second album, and the immediately leaving the scene, with some dignity still in tact ;) )

Used to play it over and over again lol
It was mine as well, but it was a present to someone I barely knew. I believe the CD was flushed down the toilet right away, because that was during my personal process to find out that rave died in Germany.
Well, I did listen to Sash!, but I never was really impressed by his music. It was fun to listen to them, once they got released, but barely nothing comes up to my mind to call it "timeless" or being a TUNE. "Stay" was a very nice track, but the majority of his productions sounded very simple.

in my opinion the 'Gay House' scene really killed Eurodance. i'm thinking that's what happened at one stage when they tried to use the term 'Happy House' music. Artists like this "Funky Green Dogs' , although House music back then would sometimes influence the HHC scene too. e.g. Sequential One ' Hey Roswita' what a funny tune

Agree that Sweat is a great song and would have done well. Colour the World wasn't bad but not exactly the strongest track. I absolutely loved Adelante though when it first came out, that was perhaps the last great Sash! track produced.
