Nah, they never stopped to begin with.

looks like no more parties there =P looked like a nice venue too, hate when stupid people ruin places. think the promotor should be at fault for a good chunk of it for not having proper security. but if they didn't sign a contract with the owner of the place he could probalby get off pretty easy...

also, where's the dj?

I doubt they had a contract since they broke in by the sounds of it! Not sure of the details of this one, but it's probably not a 'promoter' as such but a traveling sound system or several hooked up together.

If they did all that then it wouldn't have needed to be illegal. It's not that formal. Like Beeferchiefer said it's just a case of breaking into a disused building and using it for a rave.

Unfortunately I see it a lot these days. Loads of Graffiti, people punching holes in walls, dead balloons literally covering the floor in natural beauty spots, Ive even seen people driving fork lifts and hot wiring company cars stored in a warehouse. The worst part is probably that people have started fighting with the police and riot squads over the last 6-8 years. Not good for the rave scene at all.

Some sound systems round here have actually gone invite only to avoid the c*nts. Keeps things down to 100-200 odd regs, bit of a shame though really as Im sure there are loads of other decent people that would love to come if they only knew about it. Has to be done though really.

The warehouse would definitely have been broken into, standard really. Ive only been to a few proper raves in this country that actually had permission to use the land/building.

Yeah they've always been going, just got driven slightly more underground by the new laws. Facebook is changing that these days though, not that it's a good thing as the police just monitor it and know exactly what's going down half the time. Most of the more intelligent rigs don't advertise parties on it. :P

I found a few pics from 5 or so years ago on my Photobucket account actually. :D

Yeah but lets be honest, an event that starts by breaking into somewhere is never only going to attract a decent crowd lol.

Haha you'd think that but I've been to loads where the vast majority where fine. We used to break into a few barns out here and we even replaced the padlocks we broke and everything, leaving the new keys in for the farmer. People used to help clean up at the end and that too, just random strangers. This sort of thing seems to have changed in recent years though and people just don't care. :( Perhaps it's because people are shovelling ket up their nose now instead of getting pilled up. :P

What exactly is ketamine supposed to do to you? All it did for my roommate was make him a bit more tired and for his last night at HTID ITS (which was the 6th night for him) he turned in pretty early.

Well it's not a stimulant or anything but still good fun. Not an ideal rave drug really but then i guess nor is alcohol yet everyone still drinks.
