How about the idea of implementing a voting system for posts?
Similar to Reddit, Youtube, or some such.

There was this one guy back in 2001 who had his post count reduced to minus something ridiculous for spamming lol (his name is Oldskool or something), so while it may not be possible to keep it at 0 it could be possible to have it so far negative that it doesn't reach 0 to begin with anytime soon lol.
