http://soundcloud.com/12v/the-collective-my-obsession Might as well post this here. On that note, has anyone here listened to the original?

I'm afraid I don't know the original, but this sounds like proper Freeform.

Danke. :)
I can't seem to find a good clip of the original anywhere online. It's on the same release (the original, not the one on Quosh) as Kick It, for what it's worth.

The track sounds great, but i couldn't feel the bass even while listening on my monitors. I would love to try mastering your track for free to help you beef it up tbh :)
Cheers

The Collective was Sy & Unknown so I could say fairly I know how the original would sound.-
Your mix does sound like something Sy & Trixxy would have made :P

Thanks for the offer. How much do you know about mixing and mastering? I could really use some help.

Well, I don't mean to insult your track though, just wanted to practice mastering on other's tracks that's all. To be honest, mastering other artist's mixdown does enable you to put yourself as a mirror to their tracks and let them see their tracks mastered from another angle.therefore, it's not a bad idea to master each other's tracks.

Sy & Unknown weren't The Collective. The Collective where Trixxy, DB7, Vinylgroover and some other guy who I don't know.

You weren't insulting. :) If you're still up for mastering it I can send you either the already-mixed-down version or a version with all of the tracks as separate audio files (so you can work with it in any good DAW). Whichever floats your boat.
