these tracks are on the CLSM store at the moment!
Backmasker - Skacid Uproar
Plenty of whubbly wobbles and ragga jabs in this funky breakbeat track
RosbergII - Shy Nigh
More distinct junglist breakbeat grooves.
Backmasker - Move Your Feet
smelling oddly of kniteforce this new piano filled Breakbeat track is really good, also has a hoovery bit in the middle!
CLSM - You Feel It Can You
Oldskool stabs and heavy bass kicks, it's CLSM!
Sam B - Without You
Happy Piano Breakbeat Uplifter, a must for those who like happy songs that use pianos and breakbeats.
Maximus Baxter feat. Aaron Soul - Warrior (CLSM Remix)
soulful singing meets breakbeat kaos, this song was born.

Are you payed (or otherwise doing a favour) to advertise this info or do you just do it because you want to? Just out of interest.

you really are an assshole. Rowan's a big fan of CLSM and the label so it's obvious that he is promoting it out of his own free will. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least he's contributing to the forums unlike whatever numerous negative shits you post on here.

I think it's great that he has a positive, active interest in the hardcore scene! Heck, he's virtually the only one that keeps the front page news updated.
Anyway, I knew just from the track description that Skacid Uproar would be for me! 8) Skacid Uproar, Without You, and Move Your Feet are just spectacular.

hehe, I don't think Matt mean't any harm by it!
truth be told when I come to do this I find the previous digi-digest I did in the tracks/releases forum...and then trawl through all the posts that have been made since then searching out the new/forthcoming and the freebies that aren't liable to get hhc.com or the producer into too much trouble if we post it on the news page. Secondly I go through any PMs i've received on facebook and on here and they go in.
(relevent bit)
once thats done I sit back and look at the time and take a second to work out where my awakeometer is at and that defines how much effort I put into the next part which is going through facebook and online stores to see who has just made annoucements or "out nows" and hasn't made a forum post here. "UK hardcore" gets fairly good promotion on the forums 90% of what gets posted in the tracks section is UK Hardcore..with the other 10% being made up of breakbeat/freeform/makina - then there is the TID chart in the digest which again is usally 100% UK Hardcore, that 90/10 split is reflected in the digest
its partly down to those styles not being as listened to as the others and partly down to the producers not posting about them
so when I come to do this final part i'll take that into account and start with breakbeat/freeform and work my way out in an attempt to balance it out.
I do try and keep personal feelings/taste out of it lest the entire digest look very very different.
(seriously, some of it....*sigh* lol)

Answering the question more directly though; no I'm not paid. If it was offered (which it may or may not have been in the past) I would/have turned it down as it would entirely change the dynamic of doing it.
Personally I don't buy Mp3s, I don't have CD decks (yet) so I also find doing the digi-digest a good way to keep up with what music is going around the scene.
so on a personal note, when I do start buying Mp3s I'll be able to look back over all the digi-digests as a nice reminder of what has passed.
occasionally I get a thankyou from the odd producer; but I'm not really sure how much attention is paid to the homepage so afaik it may just go unnoticed - better than nothing though :)

Yeah lol. I have seen various posts lately promoting certain things (official info) that would otherwise by posted by the producer/label owner in question. Then i saw this and thought 'are people actually getting payed for this now or something?'. A better question might have been 'are you doing a favour for....', but whatever. The point of asking was i wanted to know if you were doing it for your own sake or not, and then not for anything other than i was interested in knowing lol. If you are doing it for your own sake out of your own interest in the scene then that is a good thing and it's good to know that there are people interested in pushing it forward for that rather than financial gain. It's a good step forward.

One day, when you're sick enough of hearing it all you should really just go to town with your opinions, LOL. Just a one off.
