this kind of music is overrated in the west, why would it be better if it has an asian artist singing it instead?

IMHO underrated, anything from asia no matter how good gets more or less zero air time here. The music is better (talking about pop music). At least here music tends to lean heavily towards US, which means rock, r'n'b and all other music i don't like. Most of the asian music (i listen) leans more towards dance music, which i like. Also the music sounds more fresh because its not played everywhere, though this applies towards alot of more countries then just Asian.

I wasnt referring to the video, I was referring to what it copies, which is american new r'n'b music
