Yes i know it's mixed badly i did it on my laptop, it's not mixed properly or mastered.
I just wanted to know if people dig this kind of thing and if people have any suggestions/comments/criticisms/insults they wanna throw my way.
It's only a minute long cos i kinda just threw all the ideas together

I think you need different drums really as these don't suit Dubstep IMO and the pattern is too simple/doesn't have any groove as well but other than that spon on mate, good work. :)

yeah i didn't have any dubstep samples hahaha so they're used from the packs i have. I didn't want to do the same as all other dubstep either. I wanted to do something different.
*shrug* I don't even know if this fits a genre atm haha

I'd say other than that it drops nicely in with the modern Dubstep sound mate just without being a total Skillrex clone. ;)

I love the sounds you've put in there mate.
More Drumstep than Dubstep though, which means the drums fit better than expected - if it burst into life after a while it'd be awesome!

Yeah, i'm rubbish at describing what's in my head!
I just think if the drum pattern changes to a beefier, more complex one it'll make it hit a lot harder.

not trying to contradict myself here, but who said that you need to use specific samples just to produce a specific genre?

Ah yeah i getcha. Actually a good idea. I've been on the hunt for some better samples for what im doing - but i like the idea of it evolving into a mean beefy drum pattern :D

I think he means it sounds more like electro, so maybe speed it up so it's electro.
Problem with that is a) it's not a 4/4 beat and b) i'd have to speed it up 40 bpm ish. That's like saying hard dance is basically hardcore, just speed it up and c) whilst the samples may not specifically be the same as dubstep, that snare (especially) is far and away from electro and is more a drum and bass snare.
I wanna keep to a dubstep theme, but do something different. Just because it's not harsh glitchy sounds doesn't mean it isn't dubstep - i just want to do different dubstep. If you have any suggestions about how to do that...?

Funny how you jumped the Dubstep bandwagon after you got bored of Hardcore. This isn't a Dubsetp forum and although there are a few Dubsetp fans here you are really asking on the wrong forum for advice. I wont even give the tune a listen. Remember that time you went on about getting tunes signed to a label and then it tunrs out all those labels you got signed to died out? I guess the same will happen with you Dubsetp projects...
Find a Dubsetp forum to hang out on and let us Hardcore fans enjoy this site.

a) I honestly could not care less about your opinion because i think you're a complete failure of a human being.
b) Labels i signed to that are still around: Executive records, Bassface/Bassface black... actually, come to think of it.. the only one that did was awf... and that was out of choice, not bad sales.
c) this is music discussion - other genre i can do what i want. Go get skull ****ed.
d) just for that, i'm now going to post dubstep videos in all your topics.

Look, this is a Hardcore forum, Hardcore & Dubsetp are two differnt genres, not related in a anyway. Just because you have drifted off into the Dubsetp bubble dosn't mean everyone else has as well. Try www.dubstep.com or www.dubste.co.uk/weainthardcore or some other shit and leave us alone
