I thought I would have a go at showing off my synth programming skills and I came up with something that I have never made before and surprisingly I like it. Every single sound(except the drums) was programmed by me. I even made the classic dance pizzicato sound(Insomnia, Encore Une Foir etc.) entirely synthesized. What do you think?

This was done entirely on my Virus TI. It gets a lot of use from me because the sounds from it are just ridiculously fat(or should that be phat). I do have a load of other VSTs though.

Yea I would probably agree with you looking back but as the song title says it is just a test and not something that I am taking too seriously. It was just a bit of fun and more of a mess about with synthesis and isn't really my production style. I would suggest you check my other stuff if you are looking for a decent riff. This is the kind of melodic, uplifting stuff I usually produce: http://soundcloud.com/dj-john-jarvis/john-jarvis-mix
