Saw them going for about 300 on ebay, mint condition, with lids.

yeah this sounds about right 300 seems to be the going price, nothing more unless it comes with a mixer (and not much more unless its a decent mixer)

there is somebody on our local sell and seek facebook page who is trying to sell his for 700 with a crappy mixer, i keep watching it and he keeps dropping the price, he won't get any takers until it reaches that 300 mark.

the whole going out of production thing is a bit of nonsense really, there are other models that technics are still doing that are the same as the 1210s, so its not somthing you should take into account.
on top of that there arent many buyers nowadays as everythings gone digital.
