Right, this tune was from a few years ago. Maybe as many as five. I can't remember the name, or the artist. It had a very famous sample - the opening of the speech in the film, Network. You can hear the speech here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WINDtlPXmmE&
It doesn't use the whole speech. From memory, it uses this section:
I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth. Banks are going bust. Shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's no one anywhere that seems to know what to do with us.
And then, just before each drop in the tune, the music pauses/fades out and you hear "Got to get mad!!", and then it drops.
I e-mailed the artist at the time (whoever the hell it was, I really can't remember, and never will), and he even replied saying it wasn't being released yet and he was enjoying playing it out for a few months.
That is all. Pretty confident someone will be able to get this.

I'd forgotten about this one, but no, this is definitely not it. Thanks for playing though Olly.
It's an upfront track. It was by someone pretty unknown/new. I could well know, or even speak to the bloke that made it on a regular basis these days, but I just can't fcuking remember.
