Also, the digichoir in Titor Quantum Theory (the male, robotic choirs in the breakdown) sound exactly like a large portion of the Metroid Prime series music. Like this. It can't be a coincidence! lol

I wouldn't be surprised if they sampled some bits or at least took inspiration from the Prime music since it has a pretty iconic sound.

not the first track i have heard metroid prime influenced sounds in, but most of the others i have heard have been video games remixes of other games :P

The Metroid Prime series have some serious awesome music, I got all the soundtracks and I can safely say that they are in my top most favorite soundtracks!
If you like the music, check out some of the music from Donkey Kong Country Returns. The same "composer"/producer. Some tunes sound VERY Metroid Primey. Like this:
