I think it was computer mixed. Comp mixing doesn't equal great mixing u know :P ok it's a lto easier but you can still **** it up :)

And I didn't understand real DJ'ing until I was a DJ. It has to be hard, u have to **** up, things have to sound bad. Why? So when u get it right, absolutly ****ing right, it sounds so god damn good, and u feel like king of the world!
or is that just me.

I find it really hard to believe you on that point...
if he did it on the computer he could've made it way more professional... i mean, within a couple of seconds you can fix all of it, so it doesn't overlap and such...

it was done on computer.... why do you think the mixing is so boring??? every mix fades in and out. no cutting, no scratching, no sampling...

Computers aren't great at layering and stuff. And if you want EQ's and other effects you have to program them in. You'll note that in the H2BHC series if a song comes in and it sounds slightly off it'll stay slightly off through the whole mix cause the computer doesn't know the difference. Or if Anabolic is adjusting the times he's off. And I'm positive that it was done on a comp, Anabolic said so and there was a big outcry of foul play a long time ago cause in the US it was the #1 HC album and everyone was pissed cause he "cheated" or whatever.

Course, that's just what I heard. Maybe it was all a big conspiracy against Anabolic?

i got a friend who hooked his computer up to his mixer so he could record perfect mixes with atomixmp3. it worked pretty well, so i'm thinking of churning out a couple of my own cheated flawless mixes and selling 'em with like half my face on the cover like they do with the trance guys so that it looks all credible and respectable and stuff. i'll make a mint.

I don't find it boring, i find it unproffessional...
I mixed a couple of songs together, and had no problem at all... it sounds as good as it can do... no flaws or so, and the eq-ing was no problem either... it's no big deal to do that... and i did it in my first try... so why can't he make it, when he's a proffessional?

well.. thats a question to ask him :)

comp mixing.. look I understand why u like it... but dj'ing has that nice human touch, and there's more respect for a dj when u hear is slip out of time a bit, and then he fixes it than for a guy that sits on his ass and lets the comp worry about it.

For making cd's u listen to at home.. u perhaps you have a point.. but a lot of people wouldn't think so :)

Thanx atomicb!
You know exactly my point!
i like the human touch of dj'ing, lot's of respect to that! i think being a poor dj is way better than a proffessional computer-mixer! the reasons are pretty obvious =)
having a dj play live at a party is indeed much cooler (as i said on my first post)

seems like you are the first one to understand what i'm saying here... feels like i'm talking chinese to most guys...

I totally agree. Mixing on computer is shyte-e. That's why I pointed out that Anabolic mixes on PC, cause if he didn't the mixing might sound good.

Yes, i did, but i said that i want a dj at a party, and computer mixed at home.
when i listen to stuff at home, it's not the same thing as if i was on a party... it can be very annoying when a dj lowers the volume for a couple of ms if you listen to it at home, although it really fits when you hear it at a party, because then the crowd sings the song, so it's totally different

What kind of DJ lowers the volume for a few seconds on a mix CD?
I think that maybe you have been listening to some crap DJ's!!! [LOL]

Or maybe you are listening to a "live" recording from a party. This of course would be completely different from a "studio" mix intended for home listening.
