I was just wondering does anyone know a hardcore track that explains what hardcore music is?

I want one because i am djing for music GCSE, and i want to start of my set with a track that explains to everyone what hardcore music is :)

I would prefer if there is no offensive language in it as i have to preform in front of a class and teacher :)

Haha love it how the first three posters have all three an avatar with a smiley.

But sorry I can't help you I think... I would basically avoid any kind of track like that (which talks about Hardcore), because I just feel ashamed of them, and I think any track which only includes the word "Hardcore" is ashaming enough

I don't know what your class people are like but if you don't want to stand there like a monkey and everyone laughing at you I would take something with Drum & Bass parts :P



But if the people in your class are full of chavs don't be scared to drop some real Hardcore shit :P

Oh and PS: If they're not, always replace the word "Hardcore" by "Rave" works fine

this doesn't really explain it but i know there was a track sung by some mc going on about how hardcore was never gone and it here to stay and lots of HTID, but i got me thinking of this tune im pretty sure mc marley did the vocals for that track too could be mistaken though.

There's bass beats and melody. Another one by the Geos crew.

And then there's another.

"Lets start here with the kick and the bass" and one of the better hardcore tracks ever written. The Vagabond remix is particularly good I think.

You get to dj for GCSE music? :O I always thought it was piano playing and reading music (that's what it was up until Y10 ).

However, I don't know any closer to what you want than has already been posted unfortunately :(
