Is there really as low a number of Hardcore events in London as the InterWebz suggests? I can hardly ever, ever find references to nights in London. Maybe once every few months.
Is that really the case? Or are there regular, low-key nights that I don't know about?
Does anyone know a good site/calendar for news on London events?
What's everyone's events calender of choice as well, in general, not just London? I tend to use here, USH and DontStayIn.com. Are there better ones I'm not aware of?

i think fb is the better source for events. seems like most djs are putting their dates on there. also you can check out events that your friends are attending. unfortunately there's not a good search engine on there for you to peruse everything happening in london.

Raindance and Munted are two to watch out for. Epedemik play some Hardcore but I think the amount of modern stuff varies quite a bit depending on the event. Used to have History Of Hardcore but not sure if they're still running. Freeformation is gone. United Dance used to be the regular London thing back in the day but that went when Bagleys did. They have just started putting on events again but no modern Hardcore yet. The yearly transmission seemed to stop happening. It's slim pickings for Hardcore I'm afraid.
You could always take a short trip down the M40 (or by train) to High Wycombe for Hardcore Elements which is every couple of months. ;) Next one - http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=227369730643113 There is also a nice Breaks/Oldskool/Psy Trance/Hard Dance/Techno night in Wycombe held by the Tunnel Crew sound system if you fancy some slightly more underground vibes. ;) Are you living in London now then Jay? Where abouts are you? We always go to Raindance events, well worth going to. Probably the best legal rave in the UK I think for the overall experience. I can direct you to some slightly less legal raves in London and surrounding areas if you want an adventure. 8) No Hardcore though (unless you like the harder Euro sounds of course).
