I never really knew how to scratch and there are still lots of things I don't know how to do.
http://www.speedyshare.com/files/30492855/scratchrevs.mp3 It's not as good as usual due to it being recorded and me therefore being stressed (I don't know why because when I play in front of people or a crowd I'm not haha), but nevermind. Also at the end you can hear the effect-part is a bit out of time and I don't know if that really belongs to scratching- but yeah, wanted to include this :) Also, it's funny: I have days where I'm good at scratching, days where I'm not. Sometimes I can scratch uber-fast but after like 30 seconds I can't scratch at all anymore because I'm so exhausted! hehe

Starting to get some reasonable paterns but I think the timing needs to be a bit tighter. Didn't like that effect at the end at all though I'm afraid. Sorry, it's just too much.
Keep at it though man, you're clearly getting somewhere.

sounds like you're not moving a crossfader but just hitting a button as the sound plays

No everything is done with crossfader. I move the crossfader twice per beat, but what I'd like to do is (what Ravine often does, and many others too) move it twice more, which means 4 x per beat. But I can't because twice is already the maximum speed my fingers can reach That's the thing Audio Warfare ment with "tighter" I guess! By the way what kind of patterns do you mean dude? The ones I used here are the basics "Ahh Yeah" and "Fresh" :) But if you know better ones link me please! :P Actually you could use pretty much everything...
Hehe yes it's done on CD decks but the only effects used were at the end over the "Ahh Yeah" and on the mixer, not on the CDJ itself ;)
