Is there not really a scene in New Zealand? I'm in Queenstown. There's loads of bars and little clubs here but a serious lack of hard dance. Everything is electro and dubstep. Is it worth trying to change that or is there not enough interest here?

There used to be 6 monthly or so gigs in Auckland from the Planet Hardcore guys (Kam, DamNation, Scoob E, DarkMain) but they've gone quiet for ages.
The 'Rinsed' crew in Christchurch (http://www.myspace.com/rinsednz) are still pretty busy, in fact I believe they're booking Sharkey for the 3rd of December.
There's also the "Reaction Hardcore" guys up in Auckland: http://www.facebook.com/ReactionHardcore
Hard House (Ugh!) was quite big in Wellington for a while with the FeVah and Twisted parties. Wellington also has a healthy D&B scene.
I'm based in Wellington btw, serious lack of hardcore here :P

the only one I know of is rinsed (christchurch) in december..and yeah as far as i know they have kev and sharkey...but hardcore is very few and far between here.
I know hard kandy puts on events in auckland...but thats a bit far.
