Can't remember his name but there was a local MC who MC'd over the vocals of Heart of Gold a few raves ago! What was he thinking?! As far as DJs go I'd say I'm fairly pro-MCs but when you start rhyming over the vocals of Heart of Gold you've definitely crossed the line...even I would unplug them at that point.
The vocals from Heart of Gold...the ORIGINAL Heart of Gold...the big sing-a-long moment from the dancefloor! I thought I was trippin' when I heard it! How can you make a mistake like that?!

Agreed - "MC" kinda entails some shred of professionalism or recognition.
I don't listen to MC's often, but I really just hated the tone of this guys voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IXQ2SSVOIU And he's with Gammer, to top it off. He just sounds likes hes half mumbling, half high.
Tone is really important to me for MC's.

the northeast = the worst!
over the last 10 years the scene has degenerated into a ridiculous MC culture. so much so, youngsters refer to the music as "backing tracks"......f*cking backing tracks!!!!! never heard anything so stupid. so the MC has not only took over the DJ's but also the music aswell.

I'm not sure anything can be as bad as the New Monkey.
