I think, this is a generation thing. Over the past years people started to upload videos at youtube about every single s**t they and others do. And over the past 2-3 years people started to record their dancing style. It is OK to spread around all those different styles, but tmo it kills the personal passion someone is expressing at a rave. People care more about to perform a dance move correctly than trying to express the impression of the music they listen to.

It's not a generation thing, really. Once Eurobeat hit Japan in the late 80s/early 90s, ParaPara was the dancing style that became popular with the music. Not many people outside Japan in the early-late 90s knew about Eurobeat music and ParaPara since nearly all Eurobeat music is sold exclusively in Japan, so the videos help show a totally different sprectrum on Electronic Dance culure. ParaPara is all about getting the moves right.

Most of them are just eurobeat, by the sound of it.

To each, their own, but this is definitely not my cup of tea ;p

Your posts just get better and better.

I'm just waiting for acidfluxxbass to comment on the whole Asian thing, LOL.
