So last night I went for a couple of quiet drinks in one of my favourite, low-key bars. Wanted to have a restrained one because my cousin arrives this evening and I didn't want to be a hungover mess. So, I have five or six, and a few cheeky G&Ts and started to walk home. As I went past this little street-bar thing, I saw this Vietnamese guy I know - he's gay and pretty much in love with me. He dragged me over for a drink. He was with two English girls (one 5/10, one 8/10) and a Canadian guy (9/10 - proper hunk). Anyways, they persuade me to go to this nightclub with them, Apocalypse Now. They were trying to get me to go to Bangkok with them next week as well, but fcuk that for a laugh.
The music they play is largely just standard club stuff in this place - Black Eyed Peas, Gaga and other dancey pop stuff. So we're all having a little dance - I'm kinda staggering a bit because I've had a hefty amount with only a light lunch inside me. Anyways, out of fcuking nowhere came this stringy piano sound. I just stood still, was like...."Hold up, I know that!! What the fcuk is this?! Oh My God it's fcuking Rivers Flow In You!!!!!"
I was going absolutely mental to this 140bpm (ish) mix of Rivers Flow In You and these randoms who had dragged me to the club were just looking at me like "What the hell is he doing?" They looked a little scared.
Ahh it was great. Feel like shit now though. Got in at 5am. Urgh.
Really, really not a thread-worthy story, but I had to tell someone!

Am i the only one that finds that there is a club called 'Apocalypse Now' pretty damn funny? And shame on you for rating people out of 10, but LOL at the same time for rating the guy (and above the girls).

lol, it is a funny name for a club. Brilliant, in fact.
What's wrong with the rating? Is it too TrueLAD/low-brow for you, Matthew?

Glad you enjoyed an awesome club night. I think, I know the track that was played. I have heared it while looking music videos on TV about a year ago.
I thought Lumin8 ripped off this one first, but this Trance track was released one year after the Hardcore one.
Once I was in the center of everyone's attention in a club as well during my 5 month visit in China. Some working colleagues took me to a club in Hangzhou and there was an American House-DJ playing some awesome House-tunes. And being the only western person in the place turned out to a funny evening until I got too drunk.

That'll be another Youtube video i don't want to see!
I am with you Dean, in this case. I listened to the Trance track before the original. It was kind of uplifting, but seriously lacking of sth. (today, I'd say it was the energy and the passion).
Anyway it wasn't meant to be a "hell, you need to watch this video"-post. I just wonder, if I my supposition is correct.
