was that never legal in the UK? IT's still legal in Sweden, except if there's a copy-protection on it

The only thing that SHOULD be changed would be a protocol of treating people who are caught uploading or seeding illicit material. Police will be able to listen to their phone-calls, spy on them everywhere they go, spy their internet history... In other words, "downloaders" should either seriously limit or completely disable all your Bit******* clients.
EDIT: Why is the word "T o r r e n t" censored? They don't have to be used only for illicit download/upload.

even if its legal to download for free, I still like to support the artists. However, the problem with most download sites (other than the legal and moral issues) is most people don't upload high quality sound files. Like I said, I only want WAV or at the very least mp3 320.
Thanks for your help, looks like if I'm going to really build up my library I'm going to have to get some technics and either record to WAV or just become a vinyl dj (:

I wish I had enough money (and parents' permission even more) to buy ALL tracks. Hardcore scene requires money after all.
Yeah, quality is quite of a problem. But its also tht Hardcore requires high quality to be listenable. You can hear DJ Splash on 192kbps yet it sounds absolutely listenable. As for Hardcore, 192 is the minimum.

well im sorry I've only been listening to hardcore for about year and a half, and im only 16 so i don't have all the money in the world to go off and buy every hardcore album that's been released. Oh you mean the youtube vid with like 3 million views that has been miscredited like almost every other popular hardcore tune on youtube. The track is Paradsie-I see the light(sy and unknown remix). Correct if im wrong if the one on youtube is is the orgianl or sy and unkown remix i just checked the views. But it's really annoying how alot of the hardcore tunes on youtube labeled hixxy as the producer. I went on same rant about this on Shooting Star a while back on youtube. If i gave off a rude tone i didnt mean to
You can always buy the albums used for cheap on amazon.com or amazon.co.uk I've yet to have a problem with any used cd I have gotten off there. I saw one of the early 2000 series of Hardcore Heaven on amazon for $0.63

I think this is a serious problem
There are tracks that are over 6 years old that aren't for sale anywhere (were Bonkers tracks intended to be exclusive forever?)
At the same time we are constantly scolded, talked down to and accused of piracy and guilt-tripped that we are causing harm.
Even with new tracks, why are there tracks with 9 month old promos on next generation's soundcloud I still can't buy?
Dear all producers, please sell me high quality, timely released, lossless digital files, I want to give you my money.
This is the music I love, this is what I want to mix. Why put up barriers to people who want to support you?

and the raver baby mp3 store is taking a while, even after changing their mp3 distrubitor
What MP3 store? Have I totally missed this?
I thought hixxy was scrapping the project due to the whole incident with Hardcore Energy 2 being released on filesharing sites? I know that's why Sharkey didn't launch his site and I know I've heard that Hixxy is no longer planning to release anything digitally
would be nice if he did, I'd especially would like to buy some old Jelly Baby tracks as well :)
to my knowledge (and this is after HE2 incident), There was some problems with their previous(current?) distributor.
And Hixxy's a ****. He used the same excuse back in 2006 when Bonkers was getting to much attention around the time he was about to release his digitals
Pft. The raverbaby mp3 store has been promised since like '04. It wont happen.

that's the sad thing about it :(
Just thinking of all the unreleased material this man have, I'd cream my pants when it finally comes, even if I'm 50-60 years old when it happens :P

To answer 1 of your questions, yes, the "Bonkers' Exclusive Remixes" tunes are specifically only available on the cd mix, unless the producer decides to sale it. If you would buy vinyl instead of digital, you could get your hands on a lot more rare tracks.
