I'm looking for for some cheap hardcore freeform on CD. I picked up Hardcore Anthems 2010 Volume 2 - Mixed By Shanty, and I really enjoyed it. The closer to idm sounding the better. I live in the U.S., so CDs can get expensive, so I'm not looking for extremely rare things. If there is anything on amazon.com or amazon.co.uk that you guys know of, please let me know. It seems like they don't release many of these things on CD.

check out hardbeatsdownload.com they have hardcore energy 1 & 2 if you don't want to wait for a cd, just get the download version. also Kevin Energy will be releasing My Rave on digital download as well as on CD at a really good price. it's worth it.

Freeformation can be bought cheaply, I reckon, from Amazon.
Any old Bonkers CD's will also be cheap, and have the Sharkey Freeform mix.

I can vouch for Hardcore Energy 2. I bought it earlier this week. Absolutely superb stuff. 26 tracks (unmixed) and two DJ mixes for about $15.
I'm going to definitely be getting My Rave as well. That's even better! 37 unmixed tracks for about $8!
That Shanty album you mentioned - is that still available do you know? And is download an option as well, or is it physical CD only?

chcek out electronica exposed, a label run by Shanty. They release various freeform and hard dance stuff. Most of the stock are out tho since he was thinking of closing down, but he's still releasing some unreleased stuff (one CD coming soon).

As Samination said, there are a whole ton of Electronica Exposed CD releases that are worth checking out.
Both volumes of Hardcore Anthems are available to download from Junodownload and Beatport, and they should still be available physically from IMO, Amazon, HMV, etc.

since he mentioned hardcore anthems, he might want mixed combilation. But then wouldn't you get most of it if you download them? less legal, but still more possibilities and lesser known tunes getting more listens

Thanks guys for all the responses. It seems most of them are not available in CD format on amazon and what not, but are in other places. Oh, and I don't care if it's mixed or not.
I think so far, stuff from Electronica Exposed seems the most up my ally. Definitely, keep the recommendations coming! This site is the only place to have any sort of communication of hardcore with anybody. Especially being from the States.
