How much does the Sy & Technikore collaboration sound like Scott Brown's production work?
Has anyone else noticed this?
I'm not saying its a bad thing, or that Sy & Alf are ripping Scott off but who would of ever thought years of hardcore experience teamed up with years of hard dance experience would result in this. I think it's awesome.
Check out these tracks to understand what I'm talking about:
Rhythmics - Release Me (S&T Remix)

I know they don't sound particularly original and they are capable of more, but personally, i wouldn't mind if every tune they did turned out that way! Always loved that sound, and long may it continue - especially as there's new Evolution stuff to come too. I don't tend to live in the past but in this case i'll happily make an exception.

i disagree. while i too like the Evolution sound, it just sounded less and less interesting after 2005. on top of that it got way slower. rarely anything was done to change it up a little. But as far as speed goes, i'm sure that speeding up the song can fix that.
It is fine to me that ppl enjoy the same style and will continue to enjoy it even if in 10yrs it doesn't change, but it does irritate me when these types of people heavily criticize the more modern and evolved sound when they themselves are stuck on a flat plateau. (not directly towards u DMS)

Their track The Fly is an exception though. Sounds more like Dougal & Gammer a couple years ago.

Yeah, they all really do. It's awesome. And as 8D says - they were aiming for it.
The Nerve Centre isn't really my thing.
Believe In You is absolutely fantastic.
Release Me is really boring (no offence to the dudes).
