just sounds like everything thats in the charts at the moment, nothing special there! you'd think they might try and do something original - just sounds like every chris brown/tinnie tempah/rihanna/guetta song etc etc ever made
mostly it sounds like chris brown yeah x3

ooh! massive! I used to love Aqua, their hits Barbie Girll trance mixes really kicked ! But they seem to have taken into the Electro influence now. it's allright but I liked Candyman and Barbie Girl , Dr Jones was a great track to party to as well. And now we shall find HHC DJ's remixing Aqua tunes! LOL

all these old electronic artist comebacks are not going to sound like what they did when they left. Ray & Anita (formerly known as 2 Unlimited) sound more electro-ish & Vengaboys song Rocket to Uranus sounds like disco house

Yeah terrible. If you think about it no one is ever going to be putting tracks out that are much different from anything else. It needs to sell, that is the sole reason of it's existance.

Wow, like you say doesn't sound like Aqua, sounds lady gaga/katy perry esque, anyway I thought they split after the female decided to have an affair with another member of the band....something like that anyway, I can't remember and probably wasn't paying attention when I heard it.

LOL They actually called a song Rocket To Uranus? What a bunch of legends.
yeah it's their latest track as well, they've been touring around uni campuses playing at student bars. I love the vengaboys, they used to hold illegal raves out of the back of their 'vengabus' back when they made happy hardcore as Nakatomi (you know Children of the Night). The spanish police hated them because they were always fleeing LOL. The vengaboys/nakatomi are great and are actually a massive inspiration to me, some of the craziest partiers out there too! I'm surprised they even got famous as a teen-dance pop band with the shit they've been into lmao
and yeah I heard this aqua track ages ago, I follow the bubblegum dance scene quite closely, I think I was the one that showed warped_candykid on FB. Kinda sucks but I guess aqua have always been pop so I can't blame them for going with what's popular.
back when they made happy hardcore as Nakatomi (you know Children of the Night).
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! That's news to me sweetheart, fuuuuuucking hell!
Am I the only one that didn't know that?
Neko, where the hell do you find time to listen to soooooo much stuff man? I swear you listen to literally every genre and sub genre of dance music, and seem to have a pretty thorough knowledge of most of them too. And you're about five years younger than me. I struggle to keep up with hardcore alone.

yeah Dennis Van Der Driesschen and Wessel Van Diepen were the original guys in Nakatomi - the same 2 cheesy guys in the Vengaboys ("Danski" and "Delmundo") dressed as cowboys, sailors etc. :P the female vocalists/dancers in the vengaboys have been a bit temperamental but I think they were travelling with them.
Not that many people know it, I'm sure a few people here do but it's not common knowledge. You know the song "The vengabus is coming, and everybody's jumping." "We like to party, we like, we like to party" is all a big reference to the days when they held raves from the modified school bus they drove around and held parties from :P
and er, I dunno really I think just a lot of spare time and total immersion in music. You can probably tell me more about upfront hardcore than I can tell you, I don't really follow it very well at the moment because there isn't a great deal that appeals to me at the moment. I think I just get easily obsessed with stuff and learn as much as I can about it and follow it. Nothing special LOL I'm just a bit sad like that

I needed to check discogs about this just a couple seconds ago. And yes, it is absolutley awesome. "Children Of The Night" is a childhood memory for me.
Back to Aqua: Oh well, we'll see what time will offer us. I like "Roses are Red" very much.

It's fairly common to people who know their Happy stuff, but since most people here don't (because they don't listen to it)...
