Did any of these tracks on Dougal's mix get hammered out back in 1999? His mix is has some ok tracks, like "Holding On (Vinylgroover Remix), but the majority of the mix is just bland.

He had some awesome tracks on that mix IIRC.

Look at the stars was amazing, never got released and the opening track, Shelter From A Dream, really like that.

Also, Yin Yang by quest.

****, there are loads. Go and listen again!

Greeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaat tune.

Bonkers 6 was my first introduction to hardcore. My mate, 'Big Matt', gave me Vibes' mix because he somehow ended up with two copies of it. I don't think I knew it was hardcore, or what hardcore actually was, but I fcuking loved it. Night Driving by James Venus became an obsession. Unfortunately I spent the next three years not really being able to get into it. I had no internet at the time, no really money (was 13) and my only connection to the music, Big Matt, was at Bournemouth Uni for the next three years. So it wasn't until he came back, in 2002 that I started to ask him for more. By 2003, I was hooked and never looked back. Great music, shity story, lol sorry.

Eyeopener and See Me Climb got absolutely raped (but Eye Opener much more so, one of the m most over played tunes of all time along with Shooting Star), See Me Climb still does! Mostly Brisks mix.

Well yeah it got played alot because it was the best :P At least according to most people (never liked See Me Climb, but i can listen to it). I didn't mean that by overplayed it was played more than is justified for how good the music is.
