i was at a friends house last nite n got talkin to sum random guy about hardcore n how i like old skool n have bin tryin to do old skool mixes with vdj n he told me to come up to his house the next day...so i go up this mornin at about 10ish n he gives me a shitload of vinyl...most of them look pretty ****d but theres a ton of happy hardcore n i want to rip em to my computer but i dnt know how here's sum that i wanna rip do you think they wud make a decent old skool mix...

when I record vinyls I use Magix Audio Cleaning Lab, but that doesnt help if you cant connect your mixer/turntable to a computer :P

That should help ya with connecting your hardware to the PC and recording it but you will need the hardware so you're gonna need a turntable and a mixer I guess.
Alternatively you can get a USB turntable (if you haven't got decks and don't want a vinyl setup) and follow the instructions that come with it. they normally cost around 40-60, just google "USB Turntable" and you'll get a load of results to pick and choose from
..or you can leave all your vinyl in my care :D

Oh and get some vinyl cleaning fluid etc. and give them a nice go over before you record them so you don't get as many crackles and pops when it's recording it to mp3.

well it should be easy to set up. Just remember to record the tracks at most -5dB, and preferbly store the files in wav before saving them
