Also for the people that say there is the odd good tune; well, there may well be but it dosn't in any way make up for all the shit. I am talking about the majority. Also regarding the tune from the first post, it may be bad but it's a lot better than the million clones of Clubland tunes with the same leads and chord progressions.

lol, come on! surely thats just lazyness - how many times can you release the same song with the same bass with the same sidechaining and same electro pops and pings, crawling up and down the scales...
surely if someone is made to read the same line of text again and again they would notice that its just the same line of text if someone is made to read the same line of text again and again they would notice that its just the same line of text if someone is made to read the same line of text again and again they would notice that its just the same line of text if someone is made to read the same line of text again and again they would notice that its just the same line of text, I mean how many times before they get bored
and its tons of artists as well,
is there some preset bank that they all work from?
a preset bank that comes with a project file of a song and an NFO that says "dude, don't bother, heres a project file, load it up, change a couple of notes and re-release it, you wont make any money, but theres a chance everyone will know your name, and thats all that counts right?"

The musical equivalent of a Smoogie post?

Yes, it's called Nexus.
Damn, you beat me to it.
Nexus pisses me off not because of the presets, but because it's entirely presets and preset packs... for $300. ****ing. Dollars. That's only for the VST and basic samples too.
Why, WHY would someone pay for that when there are TRUCKLOADS of other higher quality VST synths out there that not only are fully customizable and act like synthesizers rather than samplers, but also have... presets (and lots of them)? I'm not just talking about stuff from companies like Native Instruments either.
Presets aren't bad themselves, but I want a little ****ing control for a price than isn't a sham, thanks.

That's the thing though. ReFX words it as if it's a synth. It's not. The only mention of the fact that it acts as a sampler is "ROM synthesizer" on their website, which is very easy to miss or even disregard.

producers always do that! look at scott brown he's done it since, well... always. especially his 2000-2005 era. it didn't start affecting the goodness of his tracks until after 2005 and that recent clip someone posted.

So that Danmayb guy starting ********ting over katryn.
K said: "OMG! O ne of the worst tunes ever and i have been a hardcore fan since 91!
I can never reclaim all of the 3 minutes and 19 seconds! How could you :$"
A fair opinion. Shes not attacking anyone or starting shit.
So this twat goes (unprovoked)
Danmayb: "@katryn3 why the **** did you listen all the way through then? no-one is forcing you here silly **** lol"
So I kicked off again lol...
Got to look after our own ;)
But really, i was in the mood to start this again. Idiots like this annoy me, but this debate is just fun. This guys so stupid, and so easy to contradict and wind-up, its more a sport than something I feel i have to do. This guy started on me, and then bailed, meaning it was 1-0 to me. Then for some reason he felt the need to attack someones right to have an opinion (as if hes the guardian of totally shit music). So I attacked his attack. BAM.
