Yes, indeed! But you can use Trance as a general term as well! Way too difficult to say, you listen to Ambient Trance, Vocal Trance, Soft Trance, Hardtrance, Progressive Trance, ... X-P
Btw: I rememeber the radio cut version of this as being the original, which was used in Dream Dance 15 in 2000. Or haven't I recognised any changes, due you call it "2001"?

It's better than being lumped as 'techno'
And this one is borderline to me, while technically it may be hard trance, it's got nothing on, say, bells. This track could easily be played in the back end of a trance set. On that point, what separates a trance track with a harder edge (some of push's stuff for example) from a hard trance track?

Yeah there isn't a lot that is obviously different with this track in terms of production style. It's the music though for me that really gives it away, there is a distinct difference. But the weight of the kick/bassline is also something you would not find in just Trance. It's not really important though, i am kind of being pedantic about it (though not deliberately), there isn't a huge difference in general, but there is in my mind which is why i said it.

Didn't watch the video for the tune, more in the hope that one of those knobheads would end up plastered against the side of a lorry!
