Do u av 2 av Broadband to listen to the radio through the net?
And
Can anyone suggest a good pc setup 4 someone who wants to play internet radio, run programs like fruitloops, cubase etc. smoothly, smooth n quick internet access. My computers shag n i need a new one!

You need more than a modem to listen to it, install Winamp 2 or 3 to listen.

Ok, you don't need a beasty P4 2.8Ghz, just a decent sound card (Soundblaster live!). Broad band is just internet, you can have a kick a$$ pc like mine, but have a crappy net connection. You need lots of yummy RAM and a big hard drive.

i totally agree, if your going to be producing music, please not creative products...@ least yamaha or somthing with a good DAC

i still wouldn't call it decent,but good for anyone with a tight budget,which is why i got it lol

Hello!? you don't need a Yamaha card to listen to the radio, any crappy sound card will do.

Um, maybe, you missed the point, or rather the topic: Do u av 2 av Broadband to listen to the radio through the net? the man wants to listen to choons.
Emanation: To RUN programs, all you need is a pc, which can play sound. Smooth internet access depends on your ISP and your modem. If you have 14.4kps forget it!! Broadband really give the speed you need to hear the sounds you want without skipping and jumping and buffering, etc....
