what i love about gabber is that it isn't affected by other genres, through the test of time, it's just done it's own thing. For instance, we don't here any dubstep influences or Rhianna remixes or similar rubbish. Normal hardcore has gone a bit stale for me.

true gabber is pure hardcore it never has n never will be associated with pop culture it's popular for being what it is and imo thats the best thing

don't be so quick to say that. You never know what a genre will do to survive if it comes to it.

You seem to be forgetting that 'Gabber' (or just Hardcore as the rest of Europe calls it) is incredibly mainstream, far more so than UK Hardcore is here.
