Yeah, that would be 50/50 work on a track, or finishing an unfinished track, rather than doing a remix from scratch or engineering a finished track...

I presume if its someone he doesn't wish to work with. I dont expect him to ask Scott Brown for payment if Scott asked for a collab, or if Strife himselfs ask someone to make a collab.

To the guys slating StrifeII for these prices... they're more than reasonable if you ask me. Especially after seeing what Michael Mansion wants (your reactions would have been perfectly acceptable there). 
Back on tangent, I don't see what's exactly bad about charging to collab with someone he's not familiar with.

Spot on.
There are people with way less talent out there who charge alot more than this.
Also, I see no problem in charging for a collab, as you are in theory getting him to make half your tracks for you and also, you will be able to learn from him and discuss elements of the music with him (a much more hands on approach than just getting a remix done).

Having heard your intro track; Enough on COH many times, im convinced that 25 quid for engineering is a great bargain. very tempted depending on how i am financially after the summer
