Right then people, I require your help.
I've always liked it whenever I've listened to it, but I will always, always, listen to modern hardcore over old skool hardcore, given the choice in any situation.
My mate, a DnB fan by trade, has just decided that he quite likes old skool hardcore, having listened to a few bits and pieces recently. Knowing I'm obsessed with hardcore, he asked me for some material for him to listen to. I've given him a few bits that I've got, but it doesn't amount to much. This, then, is obviously a good and appropriate time for me to put some hours in with the old skool stuff. So:
Can you kind, kind, people use this thread as a dumping ground for mixes, free tracks and just suggestions and direction pointing in general?

94/95 onwards? Something like that.
Try the old Kniteforce and any of the label off-shoots, Impact, Asylum, Stormtrooper Recordings, Slamming Vinyl, early Quosh releases and some of the label off-shoots. All of them have great back catalogues of break beat hardcore from that area. Assuming that is what he likes (as he's a DnB fan).

If your friend likes Drum & Bass, I definetly would check out the tracks of Dune and Raver's Nature. They somehow combined the 4/4 bass drum beat with this typically Drum & Bass rhythmn.
