a good idea when youve got some cash again is to get the old skool cd packs from some of the bigger events. the sanctuary 2010 old skool pack is very good. brisk's set is a flawlessly mixed textbook example of 1994 bouncy techno, loads of dutch/ scottish stuff. also if youre looking for 93 stuff check out dj vinyl junkie, he has a nice line in breakbeat hardcore from that era, much more interesting than the same old 92 anthem bash set. i can also highly reccomend the slammin vinyl tranzmission old skool pack from 2009, slipmatts set is one of his best, and dj vibes avoids the cheese for once to do a 93-ish breakbeat set. i know catapult vinyl have one dreamscape cd pack from 93 and several from 94, that might be a good place to start. for the record, quite a few of the tracks from hixxy and recons mix on best of bonkers were from 94. peoples party, im the **** you man etc.
