If Jennifer Bolton, Lisa Marie or Ant Johnson, or any other Hardcore vocalist went onto the X Factor, what do you reckon would happen?
Would they do quite well? Who'd do the best? I was just wondering about this during work lol

not sure if the format is anything like pop/american idol, but out of those 3 i think that Ant has the best chance to make it to the top 10

I doubt any of them would get past the first round.

The majority of accomplished vocalists wouldn't do well on the X factor, let alone Hardcore ones.

Cat Knight definitely has a good chance to go far. her vocals on the Let It Shine version of A New Feeling are incredible

Yeah lol that's what i was going to say, the standards are extremely high. It's not just about how well they can sing, they have to be specifically what they are looking for too.

I would say if any of them were to get through the first round, it would be Cat Knight. Real powerful voice and quite a unique sound, I think she would be given a chance.
Most of them would fall into the over 25s category too, which is often full of crap (Wagner and Storm Lee), this would perhaps give them a slightly better shot at making boot camp.

Vicky Fee is very good, had the pleasure of meeting her (used to work for the same company) and performing alongside her. She sings a wide range of genres wether its hardcore, old 80s tracks or pop songs and her voice fits. A couple of the covers I heard her sing she did even better than the originals, very good live singer.

Chances are though that people will think she's lipsyncing since Cat Knight is not black! :D

Think most hardcore vocalists would be in with a chance as most of them are pretty good! male or female.
Only thing is if it were a hardcore beat behind their singing,i dont think it would get through lol.
what about older vocalists like gillian tennant etc??

Quite sure in order to go on these shows you can't be a "professional" or have had songs released in the past.
