No, it's a pure rerelease! There was a campaign here in Germany to fool the music industry. They tried to prevent a casting show song to become No. 1 in the German charts, but failed. Boomerang only made it on 2nd place behind the other song. They produced a Single-CD containg the 1996-version and Herz an Herz for the charts-corner in the CD-stores.
And about Pharao:
I don't really know, where to draw the line, but King Pharao is a track on the edge.
