Hey all, ok so I ended up having my computer dump on me and I lost every thing. I had a document that I kept a lsit on of all online Makina shops I ahve been to and a list of vinyl I have been palnning on buying.
I am hoping a few of you can point in me in a few directions to snooping these sites out again, some of them were hard to find.

www.factoriasonora.co.uk is the only one i can come up that sells mostly just makina

the best sites are spanish ones mate (I know that may sound obvious!) factoria pretty much concentrated on the stuff that was popular in the north east of england which in general is all from the mid 90's so its the real old sound.
I stopped actively seeking new records a while ago now, the scene is so stale and Makina has had its day here but I should still have the sites in my favourites on my laptop...I'll try remember to check for you and get some links up

discogs another good place to find, mostly 2nd hand, vinyls too, which in a sense is better than Factoria since the few times i've ordered makina from there, they've always had some form of unplayable parts

factoria doesnt sell mp3 so its kinda obvious :P
No I mean crackle n pops. Not that my hardcore vinyls doesnt have that problem, but when it comes to makina (atleast new), it's almost 50/50 chance of getting a record that cant be cleaned when recorded. I dont intend to buy a high-end vinyl player/recorded when Im just a collector

i wouldnt know that mate ive never bought from them due to the fact they are a bunch of cowboys. one thing i do know from experience in spain is that from 2000 onwards the vinyl quality went downhill very fast! rubbish sound quality and prone to cracks or breaking alot easier than old vinyl.......just trying to save money i guess
