Haven't listened to all tracks yet but I love Bring The Noise (Darren Styles Remix) (I am a huge fan of the original and I am so psyched Styles kept the lead!), Could Be Real, Tape Machine, All This I Know (heard this one months ago though), Don't Need, Break Of Day, I Need Air (Breeze & Chris Unknown Remix) and Pendulum Of Bass.

Don't like it compared to version 6 (last years). Why did Hixxy get rid of his female vocalists? Really bothers me.

He didn't get rid of her, she sings in Don't Feel Like Love. It's just quite poor compared to her tracks on 3, 4, 5 and 6. I also believe it's her voice down-pitched and modified singing in Konfusion and I Wanna Play Your Game, just like in Brother and There When You Fall from volume 5. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I stand with my crazy idea until proven wrong :P

Glad to hear the mixed reviews. It's not mutual dislike at least. I'll think about picking it up to judge for myself.

I thought some of the songs were pretty good

Double Dutch - Bring The Noise (Darren Styles Remix) is so heavily influenced by 97/98 happy hardcore, that awesome arpeggiator line that drops in the middle of the singing, the whole feel.

the album seems like a mixed bunch of well thought out tunes, and others that are just boring.

i feel its the best Clubland Xtreme hardcore since the very early ones (1 and 2)
i'm not fond on this style of hardcore anyway, but i wanted to point out the double dutch track.

Haven't had a proper listen yet as i've been hoovering up Dubstep and D&B lately like there's no tomorrow, but so far, much more interesting than the last piss poor HTID effort.

Not getting much in the way of tingling in my gentleman's area so far but mildly pleasant nonetheless.

Will expand further when i have something useful to say!

The original version is from 2003 & was on Clubland 5 (not Extreame Hardcore) I have it on vinyl (thee is a 'Gabber' mix with hard kicks but not the vocals.

Notto be confused with the othr Double Dutch that is Brisk & Ham (I think)

Finally got through the first CD.

I really like it. Hardly a bad track on it imo. Total lack of mixing but that's to be expected on the CLXH albums.

It's faster to put down the worst tunes than the best:

Supersonic
Could Be Real
Take You Down
The Way

Nope.

Double Dutch was just Brisk but I'm about 95% certain that V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D produced the Double Dutch tracks with Brisk from about 06 onwards. Brisk hasn't written or remixed a track by himself for years. He always seems to work with other producers. Funny that because if it was anyone else they would be slagged off for having "no talent" like Dougal was a few years back.
