MC G's 'Sexy Nun' lyric is pretty awesome, pushes the boundaries of what is acceptable:

Ive commited a sin, Im afraid the deed has been done,
When I broke into a church one night there was this sexy nun
I couldnt resist so I got on the bed and said girl Im jesus christ
Ive come back to Earth to find a wife and she sucked on my cock real nice

(and so it goes on and gets even more graphic lol)

MC Arkie's 'Foggy night' lyric:

Walking home one foggy night
Someone jumped out the bush gave me a fright
Asked me if I wanted a fight
He had a knife so I said alright
I dont know ya wouldnt wanna fight ya
Besides ya got a big fat knife yeah
That shit aint hardly fair
He said you know what I dont care
So I turned and i ran like f*ck
Was he following me I didnt turn and look
Straight through the alley, straight to my home
Through the front door and I get on the phone
Quick quick call 999
Oh my god hes cut the phone line
Now what the f*ck am I supposed to do
Then I remembered I do kung fu
So I, Bust out of the front door
With a flying kick straight to the jaw
He fell down landed on the floor
But he still got up screaming for more
Then he looked me in the face
Said ah your the MC that rocks the bass
I said yeah, my names Arkie
He said sorry dropped to one knee
I didnt mean it, was a mistake
I didnt know it was you man, for goodness sake
Then I hit him on the head with a rake
With the force and power like an earthquake
He fell down and he banged his head
Looked him in the eye now the f*ckers dead
We're gunna throw him in the river in the west end
Then I f*cked off home and I went to bed

Also loads of little 4 liner lyrics by various MCs that i love and seem to always get the crowd going.

basically the same as the newer breed of northeast mc's from 2000 onwards. Got bugger all to do with the music, all self indulgence and nothing else. garbage.

oldskool mc's knew how to do it. their there to compliment the music and hype the crowd not tell their life story about getting arrested for a drug deal stabbing people or shagging nuns.

majority if not all of newer bounce/rave mc's are in the wrong game, they should be in the rap scene.

nothing wrong with big long rhymes...but make it relevant to the job in hand.

wicked in effect comin live and direct this is the sound of the masterblaster and im here to connect...connect the flow i said connect the vibe, they call me techno-t ill make you come alive...so listen up my posse gonna tell you the score, im here up on the mic to motivate the dancefloor, to motivate your spirit, to motivate your mind, the whistle posse in the place lets hear you come alive

or words to that effect lol all about the muisc the dancers the buzz, like it should be

no idea what hardcore mc's sound like, dont follow the scene. but the scottish and northeast/northyorks mc's were always the best

Couldn't agree more lol. Makes me laugh when i hear MC's talk about where they 'came from' and all that crap, nobody cares. It's so pretentious (for the job of an MC).

glad someone agrees! I dont post much on here because like I say I dont follow the ukhc scene, just whats left of the northeast scene lol the serious years are well in the past, the gigs are just for fun now and helps me keep in touch with alot of old mates ive worked with over the years. totally disalussioned with the new breed, they really dont get what its meant to be about!

I may have left myself open to some abuse but hey, im too old to worry about that sorta thing now!

I do it all the time by making similar comments lol. Really is a completely different crowd though, it used to mean a lot to be into Hardcore but it's all casual now and has lost all meaning.

true. when I was growing up it was the in thing for almost everyone. now it can be frowned upon, mainly due to the fact that majority of followers now arent really in it for the love, more for a fashion statement...thats why every tom dick and harry is a wannabee mc, they think its 'cool'

numptys lol
