i have it. i don't think i've fully listened to it, but i can say that i personally don't like the remake of heart of gold w/ kelly llorenna as the vocalist. i didn't really care for the original by force & styles either
the rest of the 1st cd is actually pretty good tho. i'll skim thru it and give u a better review

I have it & would say it's definitely worth getting hold of a copy.

I have the first one and if you can stand the shitty mixing then it's worth it. I've not heard the second one.

it's worth it mostly for the tracklisting. there's a lot of great songs from the mid-2000s era, and there's a wide variety of styles of hardcore, as well as artists on there (only about 1-2 sy & unknown tracks on each cd, with no other artist really dominating the tracklist)
but mortis is right if u can get passed terrible mixing, then get it. transitions weren't that great and in some cases sy scratching over the transitions makes me believe that they new it was going to be a terrible transition, so they used it as a disguise. it had a weird flow overall, like the order of the tracks just didn't make any sense
i think it's partly due to deca dance, as many of these albums tended to have only 10 songs per cd, which worked on some albums (like ultimate happy hardcore the 3cds mixed by dougal), but not here
also to add, not a large amount of vocally tunes, i'd say less than a 3rd of it was predominately vocal tracks

To be honest that was the case for a few Sy & Unknown CD's of that time. I think some of it might have been down to people just not caring about the music at the time so they could get away with shit mixes.

Thanks yall. I own "Original Hardcore", and I thought the mixing was pretty pathetic, but still enjoyed the tracks. I might pick this up just to add to the collection.

The mixing on Original Hardcore is pretty wanky throughout. Like you say, good tunes though.
