I'm listening to Tazz at the moment. Now that's a good freeform artist :)

To be fair Samination, you know **** all about production and you pirate all your music anyways.
He's probably bought more tracks over the years than 95% of this site's members (I'm not defending his filesharing btw). :)
And he doesn't need to know anything about production to have a say here.
Yeah i would say that most of the people who complain about file sharing pirate stuff at least occasionally, and justify it in some way to themselves in their mind. That is actually far worse. Samination was honest about it at least.
being honest about it rather than lying about it doesn't make it any more right either

It makes him more right than the ones who are lying.

Like what Thumpa said or not, you've got to admit it's gotten this forum talking. for the first time in a long time

Semen-ation?
I don't mean to stray off-topic, I'm just sick of Samination giving everyone shit on this forum. I understand that most people are pirates to some extent, I just cant help but cOmment when a known pirate (who runs a scene sharing group -which is far worse than just leeching) posts about a "consumer market". Consumers pay for things ;)
Too ironic to stay quiet.
With that said, music is subjective. I can't stand many Re-Con tracks even though theyre much better produced than some tracks by my favourite producers. It's somewhat ridiculous to argue about Thumpa's opinions but it's just as ridiculous to say he's a tool for having them.
Considering how many artists couldn't produce a tune on their own to save their life, I'd say Gisbo is doing OK. his attitude is pretty lame though - learn to take criticism man.
I personally prefer direct negative constructive feedback to "this is wkd m8". When someone sends me a track for criticism I'm brutally honest. That's the only way to improve....

Yeah it's impossible to get honest criticism from you're friends too, as they just do as you described.

is that a joke or are you being serious?
I love freeform, I started a thread about gammers track; '34mm' i think it was called. That if i remember rightly was signed by Thumpa on Rebuild...
And i started a thread about synthwulf... and im a big Nu Energy follower and only yesterday i signed his EP on Nu Energy on 12" vinyl.
And on another note, Gisbo you need to take critisism as positively as possible. I think thats why we feel out, over something I said over your rhianna and eminem remix. Sometimes you read stuff that you might find outrageous, but you have to bite your tongue and learn from it.
Anyway, as I somehow ironically learnt last year, bad publicity is good publicity, as Ive been told my many clueless people :P

this must be about the whole zonkers thing lol. i wouldn't say it's necessarily good publicity, but it is good in a sense that it probably drew attention and awareness towards you as a producer, regardless of whether it resulted in negative or positive reactions. did ur soundcloud acct receive more followers or comments after that whole incident?
also the better saying here is that bad publicity is better than no publicity

I don't go on this forum a lot but it seems like flamewars are a big thing here! Correct me if I'm wrong of course.
